About Yankee Mortgage Company, LLC
Established in 1997 as a Limited Liability Corporation in the
State of Connecticut. Currently licensed and operating in the States
of Connecticut. Over the past ten years we have
represented multiple lenders who have provided first and second
mortgages for residential properties. The lenders represented provided
both Conventional (Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac) and Non-Conventional
mortgages. In August of 2001 we were approved by the Federal Housing
Administration which is a department of HUD to originate government
loans for the FHA program. From the FHA accreditation we are authorized
to provide the Federal Insured Reverse Mortgages.
Mission Statement
Since 1997 we have provide a wide range of mortgage products in
the residential mortgage marketplace. For the past two years we
have monitored the growth within the reverse mortgage industry for
homeowners aged 62 and older. I have decided to continue my career
in offering service to the senior community in their desire to remain
in their homes. With the increases in everyday expenses from Daily
Expenses, Medical Costs, Home Repair and eliminating debt many seniors
are facing deteriorating cash flow. Studies indicate that 85% of
the seniors would like to remain in their own home. We are a local
mortgage company with a staff dedicated wholly to the reverse mortgage
industry. It is our mission to educate the senior homeowners about
their options within a reverse mortgage along with the options offered
by the credit union to ascertain the best possible financial plan
available to them. Each homeowner will have access to a reverse
mortgage specialist that will meet personally with them in the comfort
of their home. The homeowner will have access to both the originator
and inside personnel to help guide the process from the initial
consultation through the mandatory counseling, application and closing.
